A one day summer enrichment camp ,SPECTRUM-2023 for 8th to 10th class government school students came to a befitting conclusion with the announcement of Spectrum Shining Star -2023. Ms.Samriti ,GSSS , Shahpur( class 9) emerged the winner of the coveted SPECTRUM-SHINING STAR Award . Mr.Harshit,GSSS Rait (class 10) bagged the SPECTRUM-DAZZLER Award whereas Khushi from GSSS, Shahpur( class was honored with SPECTRUM-FLASH award. Mr.Aryan ,GSSS Rait ( class 10) won the outstanding student award) .Dr.B.S Pathania, Executive Director of Dronacharya College of Education,Rait was the chief guest and resource person.SPECTRUM is an interactive ,fun and experiential learning initiative for igniting the minds of the students of 8th to 10th class. As many as 50 students across government schools participated in Spectrum-2023. The summer camp provides a perfect opportunity for students to secure lifelong excellence and nurture their power of reasoning, analytical skills, decision-making, social and emotional skills, confidence building and Human values – all in an atmosphere of creativity and enrichment.The spectrum event commenced with floral welcome of the chief resource person,Dr.B.S Pathania , Executive Director.He conducted a rejuvenation session on Yoga for Health and well-being .Participant students’ participated in the session wholeheartedly. The enriching Summer Camp also comprised of empowering presentations by faculty members of B.Ed.,BBA and BCA on Self awareness and Self branding, Yoga and meditation for physical and mental well being.goal setting for success,time management, power of effective Communication, Mind ,Memory and Health Management,IT Skills and Career Opportunities,Story narration .The fun learning activities were conducted by Mrs.Meghna Pathania, Training and Placement Officer .The anagram SPECTRUM stands for S-Self Empowerment,Positive Attitude-,E-Exploration,C-Competitiveness,-T-Transformation, R- Radiance,U- Upskill, M-Mindfulness . All the participants were given certificate of appreciation. Asst.Prof.Mukesh Sharma,HOD BBA ,Asst.Prof.Rajesh Rana,HOD BCA,Asst.Prof.Anish Korla ,Ms.Meghna Pathania , Training and Placement officer,Asst .Prof Ranjan choudhary,Asst.Prof.Atul Rana,Asst .Prof.Sashi Kumar ,Asst.Prof.Anuj ,Asst.Prof . Vishakha,Asst.Prof.Myrika ,Asst.Prof .Rajat Sharma were the resource persons of their respective interactive sessions.

The event concluded with the proposing of the vote of thanks by Asst.Prof.Anish Korla.All the participants danced to the Panjabi song. Feedback and experience was shared by the participants. Refreshment was provided to the participants.Group photograph was also conducted.
