Bhagvad Gita the Sanskrit scripture that forms part of Bhishma Parva of the epic Mahabharata has touched upon millions of lives through centuries and the profundity of its wisdom serves even today as a guiding light to all who reach for it.
Dronacharya P.G College of Education, Rait celebrated the event organized by Sanjeevni Club with great enthusiasm as always. Number of students participated in the event through virtual mode and asked several questions in context to Bhagwad Gita, relevance of it with one’s life and many other, during the panel discussion held at concluding hours. There was a great excitement amongst students and teachers who were looking forward to touch upon the essence of values enshrined in the scripture.
Event begins with a yoga session organized for all the students and faculty members at SVN Hall. The Dean of Academics Dr. Parveen Kumar Sharma emphasized upon the need of teachings of Bhagwad Gita in student’s life and explained about how it acts as a calming agent in all walks of life?
Dr. B.S Pathania acted as a keynote speaker for the auspicious occasion and enlightened everyone about the values and significantly asking to cultivate desired personal qualities by following the path shown in Srimad Bhagvad Gita.
Chief speaker Sh. Brahmchari Tarak Chatanya further added during his virtual mediation session that in this digital age where attention span are dwindling and addiction to smart phones and social media is hard to fight, many would find it a laborious and grueling task to remember the entire Gita word by word and verse by verse, but those who have successfully accomplished it find the rewards are way and varied.
Later, Guest speaker of the event Sh. Gaurav Vij. Conducted a Meditation session for all who were present through various modes and explained the process of its functioning and changes it can bring to human mind, body and soul.
