NAVRANG 2023

On 4th April, the chief guest of the inaugural session was Sh. Kartar Chand (HAS) SDM, Shahpur and special guest of honour was Prof. Dr. O.S.K.S. Sastri, Dept. of Physics & Astronomical Science, CUHP. Sh. Kartar Chand (HAS) SDM, Shahpur guided and advised students to not only focus on job oriented career opportunities rather focus on entrepreneurship so that society can be benefitted from your intellect and talent. He emphasized that student should learn how to condition your mind and try to master those aspects of mind which can help you to develop your ultimate potential in desired field of study. Further he urged that student’s ultimate objective must not only be limited to become money earning machines rather goal must be to become a man of moral and ethical values. Furthermore, he appreciated all the students for their wonderful performances during the Navrang Fest.

On the same day cultural activities like Group Dance, Duet Dance, Solo Song and Mime were organized for students. In Inter College Group Dance Competition Awasthi College of Education secured 1st position, Dronacharya PG College of Education, Rait secured 2nd ,HIET Shahpur bagged 3rd position whereas consolation prize was given to GGDSD College Rajpur. In Inter College Duet Dance Competition 1st position was attained by Astha and Anchal from Dronacharya P.G College of Education, 2nd position was attained by Suraj and Sonia from GGDSD Rajpur and 3rd position was secured by Sakshi and Ashima from KLB DAV Palampur. In Inter College Solo Song Competition 1st position was attained by Anuragini from Minerva College of Education, 2nd position secured by Muskan from Dronacharya P.G College of Education and 3rd position was bagged by Kanika from Satyam College of Nursing. In Inter College Mime Competition Awasthi College of Education, Dharamshala attained 1st Position, Satyam College of Nursing 2nd Position and 3rd position was bagged by Gian Jyoti College of Education, Rajol. Beside these competitions Ganesh Stuti, Solo Dance, Nati, Bhangra, Rajasthani Dance were organized on the occasion. The chief guest of Valedictory session was Mr. Sanjeev Kumar (HAS), Additional RCS Dharamshala. He advised students that they should follow what Swami Vivekananda has rightly said that take one idea, make that one idea your life, dream of it, think of it, live on that idea, only and only then you can achieve the optimum level in your life.

Nikhil and Diksha were selected as Mr. and Ms. Navrang of the Annual Fest Navrang 2023. Sanchit and Akanksha were chosen as Best Personality, Prabhat and Gaytri were selected as Best Dress, Anshuman and Ananya were adjourned as Best Walk, Sanjna and Prabhat were chosen as Best confidence in male and female category respectively. Managing Director Sh.G.S.Pathania, Executive Director, Dr.B.S.Pathania and Principal Dr.Parveen Kumar Sharma along with other eminent personalities, faculty members, parents and students were present on the occasion.
