WORLD YOUTH SKILL DAY (15TH JULY, 2023)

In celebration of “World Youth Skill Day” at Dronacharya Postgraduate College of Education Rait, the Swat and Manthan club offered case studies, corporate logo creation, storytelling, and model making to BBA and BCA students. Presentations on PowerPoint, a typing test, and a competition were planned. TPO Meghna Pathania of the college served as the program’s main speaker, and Dr. BS Pathania, the college’s executive director, served as the program’s principal guest. In order to promote successful initiatives and programmes that help young people’s skill development, it also attempts to improve communication and collaboration among governmental bodies, educational institutions, employers, and youth organizations.In the B.B.A. department model-making category first position hold by Radhika and Kamini and second position hold by Aniket and Nitin. Sakshi placed first and piyush rana hold second position in the corporate logo-making category.Powerpoint presentation Kamini placed first and preeti hold second position & Rajesh got first position and piyush hold the second position in the storytelling category.In case study Sawan and Aniket got the first position and Aryan and Sanchit got second position .in the BCA department Role play is done by Manpreet, Akansha, Shivani, Ritika Rana and Akshit and Nandan got first position and second position gold by Tanisha in Logo Design.In Technical Practical skills , Mithlesh came first,vishal hold the second position and Tanisha came in second position . Storytelling contest winners Shivani,Akanksha, and Manpreet and Ritika Rana . Anish comes with first positions , second position hold by Seeya Rana in typing Test. When it came to videography, Aditya Chauhan won first Prize. According to Dr. B.S. Pathania, the college’s executive director, the day offers a chance to celebrate the accomplishments of young people and to emphasise the value of skill development in addressing issues like social injustice, unemployment, and poverty on a worldwide scale. The college’s executive director BS Pathania, principal Dr. Parveen Sharma, TPO Meghana Pathania, the heads of the BBA and BCA department, and the entire teaching staff were present on this occasion. First-year BBA students Sania and Harshit host the stage of the event. The president of Swat Club Nandan(BCA), Preeti (BBA) from Manthan Club, thanked everyone.
