Dronacharya PG College of Education Rait organised a Freshers’ Party on Saturday for the students of BBA, BCA, and B.Com first-year under the ‘Umang’ (2023-2026) program. The event commenced traditionally, with the presence of Managing Director Mr. G.S. Pathania, Executive Director Dr. B.S. Pathania, Department Head Sumit Sharma (B.Ed.), Rajesh Rana (BCA), and Mukesh Sharma (BBA), who inaugurated it with a ceremonial lamp lighting. The chief guest for the event, Executive Director Dr. B.S. Pathania, emphasized how such cultural events contribute to holistic student development, imparting not only education but also moral values. Students presented various colorful performances, including solo and group dances, Punjabi songs, modeling, and more. New students’ outstanding performances in various competitions lead to the selection of Mr. and Ms Fresher for BCA, BBA, and B.Com. Divyansh and Sarushi (BCA) Jatin and Raghini Parmar (BBA) were crowned as Mr. and Ms Freshers. Additionally, Yogesh and Riya (BCA), Abhinav Rana and Rithika (BBA) were named Mr. and Miss Personality, and Kartik and Yasmin (BBA) received the titles of Mr. and Miss Dress Code. Executive Director Mr. B.S. Pathania expressed gratitude for the children’s program and extended best wishes for their future success. Finally, Siya, a third-year BCA student, thanked everyone. Managing Director Mr. G.S Pathania, Dr. B.S. Pathania (Executive Director), Sumit Sharma (Department Head, B.Ed.), Rajesh Rana (BCA), Mukesh Sharma (BBA), and all the teaching staff were present at the event.”
