Dronacharya Alumni Association of Dronacharya P.G College of Education organized first Online Alumni meet “Phir Ek Mulakat” – Chapter – 3 on Wednesday (11/11/2020). Dr. B.S Bagh, Principal Dronacharya College of Education was the chief guest for the occasion.

Alumni BBA, Mr. Kamalpreet (representative USA University, Manager International affairs) spoke on the emerging challenges for the fresh graduates in industries. He exhorted the online alumni audience to be honest with themselves and work hard on their skills. Alumni B.Ed, Kailash Chand (Asst. Prof. Govt. Degree College, Dharamshala) emphasized on the importance of positive attitude in one’s lives. He congratulated the alumni association for organizing online alumni meet. Alumni M.Ed., Anushree Gautam (M.Ed. Gold Medalist) expressed her gratitude towards the college for carving her success path. Alumni BCA, Mr. Ritesh Walia, (Dev ops Consultant Infosys) asserted on the need of developing IT Skills amongst the students for getting better employment opportunities. Former Alumni Association President, Mr. Kumar Sahil (Star Singer, Shan- E- Himachal) thanked the alumni association for organizing online alumni meet. He further added that technology can be used to initiate a cause and foster networking amongst stakeholders. Mr. Sachin Guleria, President Alumni Association stressed on the importance of alumni meet for knowledge sharing and inspiring prospective students with the success stories of alumni. All the alumni gave their constructive suggestions for strengthening Dronacharya Alumni Association. It was followed by an inspiring address by Executive Director of Dronacharya College of Education, Dr. B.S Pathania. He focused on developing networking with successful alumni and implementing constructive suggestions for strengthening Dronacharya Alumni Association. He also suggested action plan comprising skill development activities for the students. Online Alumni meet concluded with vote of thanks by Asst. Prof. Vitika Mahajan.Virtual Alumni meet was attended by Managing Director of the college Mr. G.S Pathania, Executive Director Dr. B.S Pathania, HoD BCA, Mr. Rajesh Rana, HoD BBA, Mr. Mukesh Kumar, HoD B.Ed , Mr. Sumit Sharma, Training & Placement Officer, Ms. Meghna Pathania and members of Dronacharya Alumni Association along with faculty members of the college.
