Women Cell of Dronacharya PG College of Education Rait organised International Women’s Day(8th March) on 7th March 2024 due to Maha-Shivratri festival. The theme for the International Women’s Day 2024 was “Inspire Illusion“. Dr. Anita Chandel was the chief guest of the occasion.

Address by Chief Guest:

Addressing the students, Dr Anita Chandel said that respect for women has been given a lot of importance in Indian culture. Women have an incomparable contribution in the creation of society. Women contribute significantly to the economy in the form of business, entrepreneurial work and unpaid labour. She concluded her address mentioning the potential and the status of today’s women that every big post throughout the world is dominated by the women. BBA students Pallavi, Sanjogita, Payal, Ritika, Ragini, Shruti, Isha, Harshita, Yasmin, Neelakshi presented a short play themed on Women Empowerment. Kashish (B.Com)and Ekta(BBA) stood first in Poster Making Competition where as Riya and Sakshi (BBA)secured the second position, Palvi and Preeti (BBA) remained third. Pallavi concluded the event with the vote of thanks. Asst. Prof. Kusum Pathania (Club Director), Asst. Prof. Vishakha Dhadwal along with the other teachers of Women cell were present in the event.

 

द्रोणाचार्य स्नातकोत्तर शिक्षा महाविद्यालय रैत में वुमेन सेल द्वारा अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस का आयोजन करवाया गया l अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस 2024 का थीम “Inspire Illusion” रहा l इस अवसर पर डा.अनीता चंदेल (सहायक प्रो. द्रोणाचार्य स्नातकोत्तर शिक्षा महाविद्यालय) मुख्यातिथि रही l डा.अनीता चंदेल ने छात्र-छात्राओं को सम्बोधित करते हुए कहा कि भारतीय संस्कृति में नारी के सम्मान को बहुत महत्व दिया गया है। धरती से लेकर पाताल तक हर क्षेत्र के निर्माण में महिलाओं का अतुलनीय योगदान है। महिलाएं ही बिजनस, उद्यमी कार्यों और वेतनरहित श्रम के रूप में अर्थव्यवस्था में काफी बड़ा योगदान देती हैं। कॉरपोरेट्स जगत की बात करें तो आज हर बड़े पद पर महिलाओं का ही वर्चस्व है। भारत से पुरुष प्रधान देश में भी महिलाओं ने अपने कौशल कार्य से अपनी अलग पहचान बनाई और साथ ही मां, बहन, बेटी, पत्नी, प्रेमिका और दोस्त के रूप में अहम् भूमिका निभाई है । बीबीए की छात्राओं पलवी, संजोगिता, पायल, रितिका, रागिनी, श्रुति, ईशा, हर्षिता, यास्मिन, नीलाक्षी ने लघु नाटक भी प्रस्तुत किया l पोस्टर मेकिंग प्रतियोगिता में कशिश(बीकॉम),ऐकता(बीबीए)प्रथम, साक्षी,रिया (बीबीए)दिवित्य,पालवी,प्रीती (बीबीए)तृतीय स्थान पर रहीं l प्रीती,पलवी (बीबीए) ने स्टेज का कार्यभार संभाला l इस अवसर पर सहायक प्रो. कुसुम पठानिया(क्लब संचालक), सहायक प्रो. विशाखा, सहायक प्रो. रिया एवं सभी महिला अध्यापकवर्ग उपस्थित रहे l
