On July 20, 2023, Havan Yagya marked the start of the 16th Session Inauguration of BBA / BCA /B.Com. at Dronacharya PG College of Education Rait, Kangra. In this programme, the chief guest was Dr. N. N. Sharma, Pro Vice Chancellor chancellor of Sri Sai University and former academic dean of HP Technical University. Saraswati Vandana started the programme. Dr. Parveen Kumar Sharma, the college’s principal, welcomed the principal guest as well as the parents and students. Meghna Pathania(TPO), the college’s training and placement officer, gave the students information on the college’s regulations and code of conduct and also share the information about the placement criteria for the students. Parents and students were introduced all of the BBA and BCA professors by Mr. Rajesh Rana, head of the BCA department. Students Tania Koundal and Mitali Rana from the college’s BBA programme, both of whom are employed with Slitech Chandigarh IT Park and Max Life Insurance Company, respectively, shared their experiences with the students. Additionally, Mr. Neeraj (SCA President and B.Ed.) and Akash Basoa from the BCA department both shared their insightful experiences with the students. Dr. N. N. Sharma shared his experiences with the students and advised them to develop the skills that are important for their future development. He also suggested that the institution add short-term courses like Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, which can guide students towards a successful career and inspire them to pursue new learning. Ansh, a participant in the programme who took a scholarship worth Rs25,000 after winning the college’s exceptional scholarship competition, served as your inspiration. With spiritual dance and Punjabi Bhangra, the BCA students put on various performances for the new students. The event’s stage is hold by stage coordinator Mrs. Shilpa Sharma all around the place. Dr. B.S. Pathania, the executive director of the college, congratulated the honoured chief guest, the principal, the heads of departments, the deserving faculty members, as well as the parents and students.
