Six day Inter-Department Self Empowerment Workshop, TRANSFORMATICA organised by Training and Development Cell came to befitting conclusion on 8th June 2024. The theme of the workshop was “Awakening and Empowering Gen Z for Transformative Future”. Six- day inter department workshop was organised from 3rd June to 8th June 2024. All the faculty members from BBA, BCA and B.Com departments empowered the students with enriching presentations on various topics i.e. Atomic Habbits for Success, Tech Skills, Proficiency in Writing, Expression of Ideas, etc. Engaging brain storming activities such as quizzes and puzzles were also the part of the workshop which contributed in stimulating the students’ minds. Each day of the workshop started with a meditation session for healthy mind and healthy body by Executive Director Dr. B.S.Pathania.

“Socho jara hatt ke, karo jara Datt ke” was the motto of the workshop. Mentor groups were assigned to mentor teachers where the teacher guided their students for various activities.

The valedictory function on the final day marked the culmination of this enriching event. Esteemed educators Dr. Dipankar Sharma, Head of Business School at Himachal Pradesh Kendriya Vishwa Vidyalaya was the chief guest and Dr. Bhawna Bhardwaj, Assistant Professor at the same institution was the guest of honour of the occasion.

The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp ceremony, followed by a beautiful Saraswati Vandana, setting an auspicious tone for the proceedings. The ceremony proceeded with the pinning up of the badges and the floral welcome of the dignitaries.

Guest of honour Dr. Bhawna Bhardwaj graced and glorified the event with her interactive session on Success and Stress.

She told the students to try and hunt for happiness which will lead to their real worth of life. She also said to ignore half of the things that trouble the students in order to not to fall prey to the stress.

Dr. Dipankar Sharma addressed the students with an inspiring story about a Donkey and Lion, encouraging them to realise their goals and transform themselves by achieving them. He concluded his speech with a quote from Dr. Kalam, “Where there is a righteousness in the heart, there is beauty in character.”

Assistant Professor Pooja Thakur presented a report on the workshop’s activities. The students also participated in a variety of inter group activities, including quizzes, group discussions, skits and group songs, on which they were assessed and awarded titles towards the end of the workshop.

The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony where the dignitaries awarded the “Transformatica Kings” of BBA and the “Incubators” of BCA with the Best Group Performer Award. “Master Champ” title went to BBA’S Kartik Thakur and BCA’s Tarun Sharma. Akash of BBA 3rd semester concluded the event by rendering the vote of thanks.

Additionally, lunch was served to the dignitaries and the staff, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie.

TRANSFORMATICA proved to be a Transformative experience, equipping students with valuable insights and practical knowledge.
