Van Mahotsav celebration by planting 70 different saplings at ‘Thamba Moksha Dham’ under ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ Campaign

Eco Club and Rotaract Club of Dronacharya College of Education in collaboration with ‘Thamba Vikas Manch’ celebrated Dronacharya College 18th Foundation day as ‘Van Mahotsav’ by planting 70 different saplings at ‘Thamba Moksha Dham’ under ‘Meti Maati Mera Desh’ Campaign.
MLA Shahpur Sh. Kewal Singh Pathania was the Chief Guest of the ocassion. During plantation drive Local MLA shared his views on the importance of plants in man’s life.
He further described that every plant took a passage of time to become a mature tree, but we people hurriedly cut trees . So it is important to save the trees and for a better future for the new generation.
SDM Shahpur Sh. Kartar Chand, DFO Dharamshala Sh. Rajesh Sharma, Executive Engineer Jal Shakti Dept. Sh. Anil Dogra, SHO Shahpur, Managing Director ,Sh.GS Pathania Executive Director,Dr.B.S Pathania of Dronacharya College of Education, Principal Dr. Parveen Kumar Sharma, HODs and Faculty, Students and local people of the village planted saplings and gave a message of clean and green environment.
