World Teacher’s Day was celebrated on 5th October, 2021 to honour the contribution of teachers around the globe. The theme of the World Teachers’ Day was ‘Teachers at the heart of Education Recovery”. Deliberation on the evolving role of 21st century Educators in the light of New Education

Policy-2020. The Chief guest of the event was Dean Academics Dr. Parveen Kumar Sharma

and Guest of Honour Executive Director Dr.B.S.Pathania. Programme was initiated by Asst.

Prof. Anish Korla. He welcomed Chief Guest Dean Academics Dr. Parveen Kumar Sharma,

Guest of Honour Executive Director Dr.B.S.Pathania and all the faculty members. Programme commenced with lighting of lamp ceremony to Goddess Saraswati and bouquet was given to chief guest. Dean Academics Dr. Parveen Kumar Sharma shared his views on this day. He said that it is the prime responsibility and accountability of every teacher to shape and nurture the students

so that they can give their contribution in the development and growth of country. Mr. Mukesh Sharma, HOD, BBA shared his thoughts on the challenging role of teacher and human values. Dr. Poonam Devi, HOD, M.Ed. said that being a teacher it is our duty to teach others but we should upgrade ourself as well. Mr. Rajesh Rana, HOD, BCA shared his ideas on role of technology because in present time it impacts our life in every aspect. Executive Director Dr.B.S.Pathania congratulated all the great teachers who gave their contribution in education and he also added that transformation, value system, positive mindset and attitude
