WORLD AIDS DAY 2018

WORLD AIDS DAY 2018 (Theme): “KNOW YOUR STATUS”

Dronacharya Red Ribbon Club celebrated World Aids day with the theme “Know Your Status” by organizing various events to sensitize masses on the Aids epidemic. The day started with the Oath Ceremony followed by Rally upto Rait market in which all students of B.Ed, BBA and BCA department participated along with all faculty members. A nukkad natak was held at Rait market by B.Ed 2nd year students and one nukkad natak by Community Centered Activity was also conducted in Govt. Sen. Sec. School, Charri and Rashmi, Aayushi and Samriti shared their views on Worlds AIDS Day. A slogan writing Competition was also conducted by the college in which first position secured by Sakshi, second by Saloni and third by Surbhi. The Chief Guest of this event was President of Rotary Club Shahpur Mr. B. S. Pathania and the Vote of thanks was given By the Principal of College Dr. B. S Bagh. He said there was a need to make people aware motivated equipped and empowered with knowledge regarding HIV and AIDS so that they could protect themselves against it.
