Kargil Diwas Celebrated on July 26 at Dronacharya PG College of Education, Rait.
Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated on July 26 every year in the honour of Kargil War heroes who got India victory in the 1999 Kargil War with Pakistan .Dronacharya Rotaract Club in association with Rotary Club,Shahpur celebrated Kargil Vijay Diwas in the college. Managing Director,Sh.G.S Pathania, Executive Director,Sh.B.S Pathania, Principal,Dr.B.S Bagh ,HOD-(B.Ed.) Dr.Parveen Sharma, HOD-(BBA)-Sh.Mukesh Kumar , Rotarian Rakesh Katoch , faculty and students paid floral tributes to the war heroes. Executive Director,Mr.B.S Pathania exhorted students to imbibe the values of self less duty and patriotism and contribute towards development of a vibrant India.He urged one and all to kindle the fire of passion and bring positive change in one’s lives. A one minute silence was observed as a mark of respect towards the departed soul by the members of the management, students, faculty and non teaching staff. Rotary club,Shahpur , Dronacharya Rotaract Club and Dronacharya Environment Club planted saplings at village Durgella to spread the message of ‘Save Environment, Save lives’.
